Privacy policy
Last updated: 28 July 2026
This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If anything here is unclear, ask and you'll get a plain answer.
Who is responsible
Websajt Malta (Marcus Wallqvist), operating in Malta & Gozo, is the data controller for information collected through websajtmalta.com. You can reach us athello@websajtmalta.com.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form: your name, your business name if you give one, a phone number or email address, what you need, and anything you write in the message. Nothing on that form is collected without you typing it.
- Anonymous usage statistics. Page views and referrers, collected without cookies and without anything that identifies you personally. This is why the site has no cookie banner: there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
- Spam protection. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that form submissions come from a person rather than a script. It processes technical signals from your browser for that check.
Why we use it
To reply to your enquiry, and to run the website. That's the whole list. We do not sell your information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
The legal basis is legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you initiated, and where a contract follows, performing that contract.
Who processes it
- Vercel — hosting and anonymous, cookieless analytics.
- Cloudflare — Turnstile spam protection on the contact form.
- Resend — delivering the enquiry email to our inbox.
- Upstash — a backup copy of the enquiry, so none is lost to a mail fault.
These providers act on our instructions only. Where processing happens outside the EEA, it relies on the providers' standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for 24 months and then deleted, unless you become a client — in which case business records are kept as long as Maltese tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your information, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how it's used. Emailhello@websajtmalta.com and it will be handled within a month, usually much sooner.
If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) in Malta.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Nothing follows you to another website.
