A seafront restaurant that fills its tables from Google
A six-page website for a family seafood restaurant: menu that updates in seconds, opening hours Google can read, and a booking button that works on a phone at the market.

The goal
A family restaurant in Marsaxlokk gets found two ways: people walking the promenade, and people searching “restaurant Marsaxlokk” on their phone twenty minutes before they want to eat. The second group was landing on a Facebook page with a photo of a menu from three summers ago.
The brief was blunt: show today’s menu, show the hours, make booking a table one tap. Nothing else.
What we built
A six-page site that puts the menu one tap from everywhere. The menu is a simple content file — a price change takes seconds, not a phone call to a designer. Opening hours are marked up so Google shows them directly in search results, including the different Sunday times.
Photos are the restaurant’s own, shot on a phone and cleaned up. No stock plates of pasta.
- Home — the dish, the harbour, the booking button
- Menu — a proper menu page, readable at arm’s length in bright sun
- Book a table — booking embed, plus a WhatsApp button, because half of Malta books that way
- Find us — parking, the walk from the bus stop, festa-week changes
The care plan
Runs on Care €15/month: domain, hosting, backups, security, and 30 minutes of changes a month — which comfortably covers seasonal menu swaps and a summer opening-hours change.
Note
This is a design study, not a paid client project. It shows the layout, the build quality and the kind of decisions we make. Real client work replaces these as it launches.
Every site we build includes mobile-first design, on-page SEO, analytics and SSL — and then runs on a care plan so it stays that way.
